Mesh WiFi + Starlink: Full Coverage for Your Villa, No Dead Zones
Great speed is not enough: it has to reach every room
A successful Starlink installation delivers 150 to 300 Mbps… at the router. But in a Provençal villa with stone walls, a multi-level mas or a property with outbuildings, the router's WiFi alone never covers everything. The result: excellent speed in the living room, and nothing in the bedroom or by the pool.
Why WiFi struggles in southern French homes
- Thick stone walls: they attenuate the signal far more than modern partitions.
- Floors and split levels: every slab the signal crosses degrades coverage.
- Outbuildings, pool house, garage: out of reach of the main router.
- Large floor areas: beyond 120-150 m², a single access point shows its limits.
The solution: a mesh network or wired access points
Two complementary approaches:
- Mesh WiFi: several units relay each other to create a single, seamless network. Quick to install, ideal for light renovation.
- Wired access points (RJ45): the highest-performance option. Each unit is connected over Ethernet, so speed stays maximal everywhere. We run the cables cleanly (attics, conduits, skirting).

The classic mistakes we fix
- Cheap WiFi repeaters that halve the speed at every hop,

- WiFi channels saturated by neighbours and never optimised,
