Permanent Starlink Installation: The Residential Solution

Moving from "Camping Mode" to Residential Installation
The basic Starlink kit comes with an X-base designed to be placed on the ground. This is perfect for camping or a quick test, but unsuitable for a main residence or long-term vacation home.
The Limits of the Standard Stand
- Wind Exposure: On the ground, the antenna is vulnerable, especially during frequent windy episodes on the French Riviera.
- Obstructions: The lower the antenna, the more likely it is to be blocked by vegetation or vehicles.
- Exposed Cables: A cable crossing the lawn eventually gets mowed over or damaged by animals.
The Solution: Mast or Chimney Mount
A permanent installation involves fixing the antenna at height. We offer several solutions adapted to your villa:
- Chimney Mount: Ideal for gaining height without drilling into the roof (strapped mounting).
- Wall Mount (Offset): To attach to a gable or facade, with an offset mast to clear eaves.
- Tile Mount: Specific supports that slide under tiles for total discretion.
Aesthetic Integration
We know the aesthetics of your home matter. A successful installation is one that isn't seen (or barely).
- Discreet cable routing (conduits, behind downspouts).
- Wall drilling with clean and waterproof sealing.
- Placement of the Starlink router at the heart of the home for optimal WiFi.
Why Do It Now?
If you use Starlink daily for telecommuting or streaming, a fixed installation secures your connection. You won't have to go out to realign the antenna after a gust of wind anymore.
