Super Cannes, La Californie, La Croix des Gardes: large Cannes properties need a faultless connection for home automation, security and remote work, yet wooded estates are often poorly served. Amazon Leo will widen the satellite internet choice locally. We are preparing installations in advance so the first Cannes properties can be fitted as soon as the service opens in France.
Amazon Leo in Cannes: where do things stand?
Amazon Leo (formerly Project Kuiper) is not yet available to residential customers in France. Consumer launch is expected in late 2026 / early 2027. The French regulatory framework was approved in July 2026 (Arcep authorisation upheld by the Conseil d'État) and business early access is already open. In practical terms, in Cannes, we carry out the sky-view survey and the technical visit right now — free and with no commitment — so we can install first at commercial launch.

Why Amazon Leo in Cannes?
On the hills above Cannes the problem is rarely the absence of a network — it is how inconsistent it is. An estate of several thousand square metres, a guest house, a pool house and security cameras all drawing bandwidth will quickly expose an unstable line. Yes. On flat Cannes roofs we favour ballasted or pedestal mounts, which avoid any penetration of the waterproof membrane. It is the method we already use on our seafront Starlink installations, and it will apply to the Leo terminals.
